Founded in 1995 by Automotive News and Ernst & Young, the PACE Awards celebrate innovation and technological advancement among automotive suppliers and vehicle manufacturers and are recognized for identifying revolutionaries in the industry. Presented on September 19 at a ceremony in Detroit, Michigan, the PACE Innovation Partnership Award 2022 recognizes the work of the Group with the emerging company Sonatus with headquarters in Silicon Valley to develop a CCU that will provide efficient updates for the vehicle software and the comodidad del cliente. The CCU is cabled to the controllers inside the vehicle and wirelessly connected to the outside, allowing high-speed air delivery of vehicle software updates, connected car services, vehicle data collection and remote diagnosis car. The controller also supports connected car services and links to the Genesis Connected Service, Bluelink and Kia Connect applications to provide advanced capabilities such as vehicle remote control, alert monitoring, video transmission from the integrated camera and map information transfer high precision for autonomous driving. The CCU also includes the capacity to collect data from multiple vehicles to support essential client care services and a big data platform that only accesses the information needed in real time.
