Luxury resort a $5 billion moonshot for ‘space tourism on ground’

- Moon Dubai will take about four years to be completed.

Its facade is going to be a replica of the lunar surface, surrounded by a “lunar colony” predicted to hold 2.5 million guests annually while overall, 10 million could experience “affordable space tourism” in a year at the resort.

Moonshot to stay on Earth
“Moon Dubai will be the largest and most successful modern-day tourism project within the entire MENA region, doubling annual tourism visitations to Dubai based on its global appeal, brand awareness and unique multiple integrated offerings,” MWR co-founder Michael R. Henderson said.
These services include an in-house “moon shuttle”, spa and wellness facilities, a lounge and convention centers.
