Recognizing Yorkshire’s Top Talent at the Yorkshire Finance Leaders Awards 2022

The search is on for Yorkshire’s brightest and best finance talent as this year’s Yorkshire Finance Leaders Awards gets under way for 2022.

The Yorkshire Finance Leaders Awards recognize and promote exceptional financial leadership in the region. The awards provide a platform for showcasing the achievements of local finance directors, chief finance officers, financial controllers and wider finance teams who underpin and sustain Yorkshire’s economic growth.

This year’s program includes new sponsor Marks Sattin, financial recruitment specialist, which joins returning sponsors Aon plc, leading global professional services firm, BDO LLP, accountancy and business advisory firm, and Lloyds Bank.

Rafi Davies, director at Marks Sattin, said: “We are excited to be part of the Yorkshire Finance Leaders Awards as a sponsor for this year’s process. The last few years have seen unprecedented challenge and change. Our finance leaders are key to supporting businesses through these periods of economic uncertainty to ensure they can continue to prosper and grow. We can’t wait to get out and start meeting some of the region’s brightest and best financial talent. ”

New categories for this year’s awards include Yorkshire’s Finance Leader of the Future, Sustainability Leader Award and Best Diversity and Inclusion Award as well as more traditional categories such as Best Yorkshire Finance Leader in an International Company, Best Yorkshire Finance Leader in a Private Equity-Backed Company, Best Finance Leader in a Private or Family-Owned Business and Deal of the Year.

The Yorkshire Finance Leaders Awards are now recognized as one of the best annual events for Yorkshire’s finance leaders. Over the years, the awards have recognized the best-performing talent working across a wide range of businesses across Yorkshire and attracted high-profile keynote speakers.

Details of this year’s finalists will be released before the winners are announced at a black-tie gala dinner hosted by Bernard Ginns of specialist communications company Branksome Partners at the Royal Armories on Thursday October 6 2022.
