Stock Market Sectors: Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks down as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers shares closed higher in Wednesday’s session. & Fertilizers (up 5.07%), Coromandel International (up 3.12%), ZUARIAGRO (up 3.01%), & Fertilizers (up 1.45%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem (up 1.16%), Madras Fertlizers (up 1.10%), Fertilizers (up 0.97%), & Chemicals (up 0.88%) and Madhya Bharat Agro Products (up 0.70%) stood among the top gainers.

GSFC (down 2.57%), Sikko Industries (down 2.11%), KRISHANA (down 2.02%), Aries Agro (down 1.87%), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers (down 0.88%), National Fertilizer (down 0.71%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore (down 0.37%), Agro Phos (down 0.31%),

& Petrochemicals (down 0.21%) and Southern Petrochemicals Industries (down 0.10%) were among the top losers of the day.

The NSE Nifty50 index ended 178.95 points up at 15989.8, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed up 616.62 points at 53750.97.

Britannia Industries (up 4.76%), Bajaj Finance (up 4.52%), Bajaj Finserv (up 4.37%), Hindustan Unilever (up 4.03%), Eicher Motors (up 3.65%), Hero MotoCorp (up 3.45%), Asian Paints (up 3.43%), Maruti Suzuki (up 3.37%), Titan Company Ltd (up 3.03%) and TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS (up 2.87%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (down 5.06%), Power Grid Corporation of India (down 1.73%), NTPC (down 1.35%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE (down 1.31%), Hindalco Industries (down 1.25%). , Reliance Industries (down 0.88%), Larsen & Toubro (down 0.56%), Coal India (down 0.41%), Tata Steel (down 0.23%) and Dr Reddys Laboratories (down 0.1%) closed in the red.
